Classically trained in Applied Kinesiology, I have always been fascinated by the neurophysiological mechanisms of manual therapy in general. I have also tried to understand what exactly might happen when we apply certain stimuli to a patient and why stimuli may solicit a certain response. My training brought me to P-DTR where I discovered the practical world of neurophysiology and it has helped me to start understanding the main principles and mechanisms of any manual therapy and how different stimuli and challenges might affect our functioning on different levels - biomechanical, physiological, neurological, biochemical, emotional, and cognitive. The P-DTR therapy gives a very logical and structured approach to functional problems and amazing tools to assess, diagnose, and treat patients. Apart from my own P-DTR practice and teaching, I work at P-DTR GLOBAL as Dr. Palomar’s assistant and I am in charge of the ongoing P-DTR research and clinical trials. Our work is dedicated to the further theoretical and clinical research of the P-DTR therapy and establishing it within the professional medical community worldwide.
